Brain Child is episode thirty-seven of the live-action TV series The Incredible Hulk. It originally aired on October 5, 1979 on CBS.

Synopsis[]

David meets a brilliant, but troubled teenage prodigy who has escaped from the scientific institute that was studying her extraordinary mental capabilities. With the authorities and the institute tracking their whereabouts, it is up to David to help them successfully avoid detection while simultaneously helping her work through her issues.

  • June Allyson was a movie star in the '40s and '50s
  • Shortly after this episode aired, Allyson was a judge on The Gong Show, and a couple of people in the audience yelled, "Don't jump!"—which was a reference to a scene in this episode
  • This episode is sometimes billed as 'Odyssey' (possibly the original working title)
  • This is the first episode in the series that has a character named "Elizabeth Collins" (the second was in season four's two-part episode "The First")
  • Fred Carney's character is named "Frank W. Sanders", but in the end credits he credited as "Mr. Sweeny"
