Rita is a supporting character created especially for The Incredible Hulk (1982 Animated Series).
History[]
Rita is the girlfriend of Rick Jones on Earth-8107. She works as a waitress at Rio's Ranchero, a New Mexico diner/gas station situated near Gamma Base that is owned by her father, Rio, and replaces him when he is absent. It is implied that Rita is still attending high school, as she helps the school film club with their movie project in the episode "The Creature and the Cavegirl".
In the episode "Prisoner of the Monster", it is clear that Rick reveals the terrible secret of Bruce Banner to Rio and Rita, and they too try to help him as they can.
